Transfer wave muscle memory onto asphalt
Perched on a breathtaking arid plateau overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the rooftops of Taghazout village, Taghazout Skatepark is an iconic community hub created in 2017 by Make Life Skate Life. It attracts international surf-skaters, pros, and stoked locals alike.
For surfers, surf-skating is the single most effective dry-land training tool in existence. Repeating bottom turns, top turns, compression, and weight transfers on smooth ramps creates instant neuromuscular muscle memory that directly translates into faster progress when paddling back out at Anchor Point or Banana Beach.
Per session with van transfer and surf-skate gear rental. Free park access for skaters with their own gear.
Yes! Taghazout Skatepark is a public community facility free to enter for everyone. Our paid camp package covers roundtrip van transport, high-end Carver/YOW surf-skate equipment, and safety pads.
Absolutely! The park has wide, flat concrete areas and gentle banks where our instructors teach basic foot placement, balance, and gentle pumping before you approach the bowl.
While the public park does not enforce strict equipment rules, we provide and strongly recommend helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads for all camp guests during sessions.
Late afternoon between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM is prime time. The midday heat dissipates, the ocean wind settles, and the sunset light over the bay is unforgettable.
